Boss Battle Video

Ahoy mates! Found this video on YouTube of the Boss Battle on test.

It's more difficult than I thought it would be. Even with a decent-size crew, they don't quite make it to Goliath. (And even if they had, the Pearl was so damaged, the end result would've been the same.)

The Crossbones Crew's gonna be needin' all our skills to get through this one -- but I can't wait to try!

hmmm... good training film. Taking over the Pearl was obviously the easy part. And the battle ships went down alright. But we need be strategizing to get thru the bridges it appears...

Aye that be one fierce battle, Nothing the Crossbones Crew can't handle. Looks like we be needing our cannon skill so lvl up time here we come!

Aye, many thanks to ye Ulysses, for this incredible bit of undercover scouting! I took a closer look at the smuggled film. It is a bit fuzzy, but one thing is clear... this was a weak bunch of pirates attempting this attack. The guy filming looked like a 16, with cannon skills maybe 11 (highest addon being grapeshot). Grace Wildrage was lvl 27, and one lady might have been a 30. Nothing higher... in fact Rose appeared to be only 17, and the dark pirate with hat a lvl 20. There were 6 pirates in the crew. I have to wonder how most of these pirates even made it to the boss battle!

As for strategy, I think their biggest mistake was getting too close to the drawbridges. I like Oak's cunning idea of sneaking around and hitting the drawbridge defenses from land first (but I hesitate to mention such an option to Disney lest we be made to wait another year for completion...)

I'd say the scariest part of this venture to me appears to be getting through the enormous pink jellyfish between the bridges!
